They look like little shell chocolates! Honestly, they look really cool to me. What's the scent you used for them? Just curious.
~What do you mean coulda been better??,They look great!!!!:)Scent???
OMG, they are gorgeous! you can be so proud. I would be so pleased if I made those. Hope you are well, how are the art walks going?Hugs, DJ in SW MI
Second batch looks better. The brown is better mixed and looks less muddy and I got better coverage.Scents:Predominantly Sea Moss on the surface layer and main body.(Orchid, Jasmine and Violet with supporting notes of Ozone (air), Sandalwood, Musk and Moss.)The brown layer is Spiced Mahogany (Italian Bergamot, Apple Wood and Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Cedarwood, and Oakmoss, Cardamom, Vanilla Bourbon and allspice.) Ann-Marie's instructions (Actually I think they are PJ's, but they were on the Soap Queen blog) called for the Sensuous Sandalwood, which I don't have. This was a recommended substitution. The white streaks (and layer) is Gardenia.I'm really thinking about doing a batch with Dragon's Blood, Nag Champa, and Rose. Not sure about the discoloration and how much it will bleed, though. :-(
BTW DJ, ArtWalk is a bust. The person who was supposed to make sure I was listed never bothered. Then my sponsors wanted to do "theme" months...and strangely enough, I was the only "regular" who didn't fit in the first one.So now, I'm slowly building up stock and revising my packaging. Then, on to Etsy and local shows.
